Union Grove offers many opportunities to serve God and the community through a variety of ministries. Whether your gifts lie in playing with the Holy Rollers praise band, cooking at the homeless shelter, or traveling with the youth to rebuild homes in Mississippi, you can find your place at Union Grove. |

WorshipSunday morning worship is at 10 am, followed by a fellowship time and Sunday School. On the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate Holy Communion during the service and have a covered-dish luncheon after the service. A nursery is available during the service. We also have special worship services on Ash Wednesday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter, Thanksgiving Eve, and Christmas Eve. OutreachProject Compassion Care TeamsSeveral care teams have formed out of concern for people we know who have special needs:
Front Porch Ministries (Hospitality and Welcome)Front porches used to be one of life’s most important locations. Whether you lived in town and the proximity of your front porch to the sidewalk quite naturally entwined your life with that of your neighbor’s, or you lived outside of town and had to be more intentional about gathering: the front porch was the place for sitting, rocking, swinging, waxing eloquent, and just plain sharing life. We are blessed at Union Grove to share a ministry setting of over twenty acres. Beautiful trees, a spring, a wonderful playground, open fields, great facilities, an amphitheatre, a soon-to-be-constructed covered picnic area, and plans for lots more—our campus is a holy and sacred place where community can gather, worship, and share life. Front Porch Ministries seeks to reach out to our community, to invite and welcome folks to come and share the hospitality and spirit that is Union Grove UMC. If there is something stirring in your heart, if your soul longs for God’s presence, we invite you to come and join with us as together we seek to discern and answer God’s moving in our lives. Regular Activities:
