Union Grove Campus | Eno House
Welcome to the Union Grove Campus!
Union Grove UMC is nestled on twenty-two acres of beautiful land in central Orange County. We are located in a rural area, surrounded by farmland and country roads. Our twenty-two acres serve as a place of retreat and renewal for our church members and surrounding community. We host many outdoor fellowship events throughout the year, and invite people to come and sense the peace of God that permeates our campus.
Picnic Pavilion
In 2010 we constructed a picnic pavilion, in partnership with the Boys Scouts, that hosts picnics, children’s crafts, and spiritual growth activities.
The Creek, Prayer Garden, and Amphitheater
A creek skirts the edge of our property, and on the banks of the creek we have constructed a Prayer Garden and Amphitheater for private meditations and group gatherings. We hope to provide a space where folks can get away and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation.
The Playground and Sports Fields
The Church playground is a popular place for our youngsters, offering them space to run, climb, swing, slide, and jump. We also have a basketball court, volleyball net, and large soccer-length field that functions as popular gathering places for outdoor activities and camping.
The Cemetery
The Church Cemetery is located at the north end of our property, and is a peaceful place for our community.
Polinator Garden
In the breezeway between the two main buildings on our campus is an intentional polinator garden that helps benefit the butterflies, bees, and other pollinators in our area. This is part of our church’s commitment to creation care. We are grateful to the NC UMC Creation Care Team for their support of this ministry.
Welcome to Eno House!
Eno House is located at 903 Eno Street in Hillsborough, just a few minutes away from the Union Grove campus! It is a gathering place for West Hillsborough. The vision is to provide an open and inviting space for everyone in the community to fill with their talent, dreams, and gifts. To that end, we aim to make Eno House a convenient and versatile place for all kinds of events. By coming together to live, work, and play, we hope to transform strangers into neighbors and friends. Let’s flourish together!
