Local Disaster Relief Mission Teams
Union Grove members are quick to respond to local natural disasters and ongoing home repair needs by offering our time and energy to home repair projects through UMCOR and other organizations.
Summer Youth Mission Trip
High School youth at Union Grove UMC participate in a week-long summer mission trip, offering their time and energy to God’s service through home repair. Led by a dedicated team of adults, the mission teams participate in disaster and poverty relief in areas throughout the southeast. They have participated in the Appalachian Service Project, and have rebuilt homes devastated by Hurricanes Matthew, Rita, and Katrina. They have also served with United Methodist Volunteers in Mission (UMVIM) in West Virginia and North Carolina.
